Detroit-Based Little Caesars Is Testing Drone Delivery
Alright…this is something I can get on board with.
It’s either the future or something straight out of a sci-fi movie, and honestly, I’m all for it.
Little Caesars is now testing pizza delivery by drone, and yeah…it’s exactly what it sounds like. Your order literally flies to your house.

Little Caesars Drone Delivery Is Now a Real Thing
According to MLive, they’ve teamed up with Flytrex, and the setup is pretty wild. You can order a full meal, we’re talking a couple of pizzas, Crazy Bread, even a drink, and a drone drops it off at your place in just a few minutes. No driver. No knocking. Just a flying pizza delivery.
The drone they’re using can carry nearly 9 pounds and travel up to four miles, which honestly covers a pretty big chunk of any town. And get this…they’re saying the average delivery time is around 4 to 5 minutes from takeoff.
Now look, I already know some people aren’t going to love this. The first thing people will say is that this kind of stuff could put delivery drivers out of work. And yeah…that’s a fair concern.
When Could Drone Pizza Delivery Come to Michigan?
Right now, it’s only happening in a test market down in Texas. I know…that kinda sucks. But if this works, there’s no doubt it’ll eventually make its way up here to Michigan.
Just imagine sitting in your backyard, hearing that little buzz overhead, and, next thing you know… your pizza drops from the sky. Come on, that would be awesome.

Feels like we’re getting closer and closer to living in the future…whether we’re ready or not.
