So of you may be familiar with 'The Michigan Protectors' and some of you may not.  For the most part, they are an organization of costumed activists that patrol Flint and surrounding areas on the lookout for trouble, much like superheroes.  Apparently, 'Bee Sting' was arrested Thursday morning.  Details after the jump.

Thursday morning, police arrested 'Bee Sting' at Twin Meadows Mobile Home Park on felonious assault and possession of body armor while committing a violent felony charges.  The 37-year-old masked activist approached a couple at the park about the volume of his motorcycle.  As the argument escalated, 'Bee Sting' reached for his shotgun and aimed it at the man...

The victim was able to grab the barrel of the shotgun and point it in an opposite direction, Odette said. One shot was fired and struck a nearby vacant trailer, and police arrived as the men were fighting.

'Bee Sting' had on the following costume when arrested...

...a tactical belt, pepper spray, scissors and handcuffs, and wearing a bullet-proof vest, black leather jacket with a bee logo, shin guards, knee pads, black leather gloves and carrying a shotgun.

The 'Michigan Protectors'' name is being withheld until his arraignment in Genesee District Court.  Check out the full story here at MLive.
