In the last couple of years, I've developed a passion for rental properties. Lately, I've been particularly drawn to Airbnb log cabins scattered across Michigan. Although I use the term "cabin" loosely, the ones I've encountered defy the traditional cabin image. This specific rental is actually described as a spacious lake house.

According to the extremely positive reviews, this four-bedroom rental has 9 beds and sleeps 12 people comfortably.

This lake house is tough to rent during the summer months, for obvious reasons. The host says that it might be a little easier to book in the fall or winter when there's less demand.

If you're lucky enough to get into this place, you'll love the fact that while you're on Lake Michigan, you can also easily walk to downtown Suttons Bay (about 1 mile) where you’ll find a bunch of unique shops, restaurants, and wineries.
