Man Uses Pinterest Template To Make Counterfeit Money, Gets Busted [VIDEO]
I guess you can find just about anything on Pinterest these days, including counterfeit money.
A man in, you guessed it, Florida was busted for printing and trying to use counterfeit money. Levy Newberry decided to use a template he found on Pinterest to print some fake money. The 29-year-old went down to a Pasco County public library and started printing counterfeit bills including 5's, 10's, 20's, and 50's.
Now you would think that the story ends there, oh no. He didn't get busted at the library, nor did he get busted when he tried to sell it on Facebook. It was when he tried to use the bills to pay rent to the landlord that caused his demise. Investigators recovered $700 worth of the fake bills and charged him with forgery. I guess the moral of the story is that if you decide to pick up a hobby in counterfeiting, you should use something better than Walmart paper to print it on.
