If you filled up at a Meijer gas station in Michigan recently, you might want to pay attention to this…because this could turn into a major headache for some drivers.

At the Meijer Express in Clinton Township, there was apparently a mix-up where diesel fuel may have been pumped into tanks labeled as regular and mid-grade gas. Not ideal. Actually…pretty brutal if it happened to you.

And just in case you’re wondering, putting diesel in a regular gas engine is not a small issue. That can mess things up in a hurry, depending on how much got in there. This isn’t something you can sit on either…you’ve got to act fast.

What to Do If You Got Bad Gas at a Meijer in Michigan

Meijer says they’ll reimburse customers for any expenses tied to the issue, which is good…because repairs from something like this can get expensive fast.

They also say this was isolated to just that one location.

A mix-up like this doesn’t happen often, but when it does…it’s a problem.

If you think you were affected, you can contact Meijer directly at 616-791-5484.
