Michigan And Michigan State Look To End 2018 With Bowl Wins
What better way to end 2018 than with some college football bowl games.
Both Michigan and Michigan State earned bowl bids this year and are looking to end the 2018 season on a positive note heading into next year.
The seventh-ranked Michigan Wolverines (10-2) will face off against the tenth-ranked Florida Gators (9-3) in the Peach Bowl on December 29th at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Kickoff is set for noon and will be televised on ESPN. The Wolverines are going to be without the services of defensive end Rashan Gary and running back Karan Higdon who both are preparing for the NFL draft this spring. Even with the loss of Gary the Michigan defense is ranked #1 in the nation and will try to slow down the high powered offense of the Gators.
Michigan State (7-5) will face the Ducks of Oregon on New Year's Eve in the Redbox Bowl held in Santa Clara. Kickoff set for 3 pm and will be on FOX. The Spartans have played in a college bowl game 11 out of 12 years that head coach Mark Dantonio has been at the helm. They will try to slow down the fast-paced Oregon offense which is averaging over 37 points per game this season.
