Michigan Boy, 13, Killed In Hunting Accident

A 13-year-old Michigan boy from the Grand Rapids area has died after an unfortunate hunting accident. The accident happened on Saturday while the boy was hunting small game with two other people. 

The accident happened in Oceana County's Greenwood Township and Michigan State Police were called to the scene. The boy was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital in Muskegon.

The funeral is going to be held at Frontline Bible Church this Thursday. William "Billy" G. Gort Jr. was a student at Pinewood Middle School where counselors will be available for students today.

The accident is still under investigation and a GoFundMe page has been set up for the family.
