Michigan Marijuana Recall – Bay City Plant Worker Accused Of Licking Products
Are you kidding me? Why in the hell would someone do this? It is stories like this that make me lose faith in humanity, and not want eat or drink anything that I don't make myself.
According to MLive, marijuana across Michigan is being recalled after an employee at a Bay City processing plant, allegedly licked pre-rolled products. As you can imagine this is not laughing matter, the manufacturing plant named on the order is Euclid LLC.
The Michigan Regulatory Agency issued the following statement,
The Marijuana Regulatory Agency (MRA) is issuing this health and safety advisory bulletin due to a confirmed complaint regarding pre-rolls contaminated with human saliva. The below packages of pre-rolls were manufactured by 3843 Euclid LLC (License Nos. PR-000098 and AU-P-000106) and dispersed to many marijuana sales locations.
All contaminated pre-rolls will have a label that indicates the license number of the marijuana business that sold the marijuana product as well as tag number assigned to the product in the statewide monitoring system. Note: An MRA investigation is still on-going and may result in additional future recalls.

So what do you do if you have any of the recalled products?
Consumers who have these contaminated pre-rolls in their possession should return them to the provisioning center or retailer where they were purchased for proper disposal. Provisioning centers must notify patients and caregivers who purchased these pre-rolls of the recall.
If the accused employee thought this stupid stunt was funny, I am quite sure he, or she, is not laughing now.
