Michigan Officer Accused of Sexting a Teenager

A police officer in Warren is no longer with the police department after being accused of sexting a 17-year-old girl.

According to Fox 2, the patrol officer who's in his early 30s had been sending messages to the girl while on and off duty in the fall of 2018. He also met the young lady once while on duty.

When the story first broke earlier this month, he was put on paid suspension but has since been fired after serving 8 years on the force.

It's unclear what was said in the messages or what happened when the two met. It's also not clear whether or not any charges were filed against the officer. I'm not even sure what kind of charges can be filed in a sexting case like this. You'd think he'd at least be put on some kind of a list or something. Either way, this guy is out of a job and will hopefully never do anything like this again.
