Michigan’s Adventure, Cedar Point Now Operate as Six Flags Parks

On Monday, regional theme park giants Six Flags and Cedar Fair completed their merger, creating the newly minted Six Flags Entertainment Corporation.

This union solidifies Six Flags' position as the largest amusement park operator in North America, boasting a lineup of 42 parks across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Before the merger, there were Six Flags parks and resort properties in 11 states, along with parks located in Montreal and Mexico City.

Combining Cedar Fair’s renowned guest experience with Six Flags’ cutting-edge attractions, the new Six Flags promises unparalleled fun and excitement for visitors of all ages. With enhanced financial resources, the company plans to introduce new rides, expand food and beverage options, and integrate advanced consumer technologies to enrich every guest's park experience.

Our enhanced free cash flow will support ongoing investments in our parks, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.

I personally cannot wait to see what they add to Michigan's Adventure & WildWater Adventure. Popular amusement parks in our neighboring state, Ohio, were also included in the merger: Cedar Point, Cedar Point Shores Waterpark, and Kings Island.
