Oakland County’s Only Launch Water Slide Now Open to Public

As the summer heats up, Michigan is filled with ways for residents to keep cool. Typically Michiganders will flock to the beaches, grab a tube and float down a river, spend the day on the boat, and other such things for summer relief. But what about water slides?
Orion Charter Township is now home to Michigan's first and only launch water slide. Now open, the Warrior Whoa Slide will launch riders into the air for a few seconds of hang time before splashing down into the lake. This new slide is located inside Water Warrior Island in Oakland County.
Water Warrior Island is filled with ways to keep your entire family cool this summer. The inflatable obstacle course is filled with slides, runways, swings, bouncers, and more. It challenges visitors to test their skills at climbing, jumping, balance, and more. Water Warrior Island also offers kayak and paddleboard rentals.

- Ten Slides - $25
- All Day Warrior Whoa Slide Pass - $55/day
Tickets for the obstacle course at Water Warrior Island can be purchased in one-hour, two-hour, and all-day sessions. Kayaks, paddleboards, and floating cabanas can also be rented by the hour. If you're looking to spend the day at Water Warrior Island, you can purchase an all-day pass that includes the use of all obstacles on water warrior island and unlimited rides on the Warrior Whoa Slide for just $75 per day.
