MTA to Reinstate Fixed Route Bus Services in May

On May 18th, the Mass Transportation Authority will reinstate more essential services.

According to Mid-Michigan Now, fixed Route bus service will be reinstated on May 18, 2020, with services operating on a Saturday type hourly service Monday through Saturday 6:30 am - 11:00 pm and Sundays 830am - 7:30 pm.

Here's what you need to know:

• Passengers will be asked to wear a mask or scarf.
• Boarding the bus will be done through the rear doors only.
• Fares will be waived until June 1, 2020.
• Regional Route service will be reinstated on June 1, 2020.

Obviously, if you're sick do not leave your house and do not ride the bus.

This is just one more move to help get us back to normal. We're still a long way off but it's a start. I don't know if things will ever truly go back to "normal."
