Check Out the New Arcade Open Inside Grand Blanc Lanes [PHOTOS]
Grand Blanc is now home to a new arcade for your family to check out.
Grand Blanc Lanes on Saginaw Street, next to Rollhaven, has added some new entertainment options for you to check out. The former annex of the building, which held 30+ bowling lanes has been converted to offer more family-friendly options.
Over the last few years, Grand Blanc Lanes has been renovating the annex to add more things. After converting many of the old bowling lanes, the building is now home to a brand-new arcade and cornhole facility. Now the annex boasts these new areas, 14 bowling lanes, concessions, a bar, and more.
Aside for the super serious bowlers in the county, many people were unaware that Grand Blanc Lanes has an annex with more lanes. Most that walk in see the main 44 lanes and assume that is it, however, that is not the case. If you pull around behind the building or take the long hallway next to lane 44, you'll find that Grand Blanc Lanes has more to offer.
The annex was the original home for the Banana 101.5 Bad Bowlers League and that I how I initially knew it was there. After season one, we moved into the main house to use more lanes. Since then, the crew at Grand Blanc Lanes has been working hard to offer more options. The new arcade and cornhole facility are awesome.
All of the arcade games are brand spanking new and include everything from ski ball and Pacman to coin pushers and the newest favorites in the arcade world. The soft opening of the arcade was this past weekend as finishing touches are still being made. The final step is the construction of the redemption room where gamers can take their playing cards and cash in their points for prizes. The redemption room should be finished within the next week or so.
Grand Blanc Lanes is located at 5301 S. Saginaw Street and the arcade is open now for you to try out.
