Is A Dollar Tree Store Opening In Linden?

A new Dollar Tree store is rumored to open in Linden, Michigan.

This may seem odd since Dollar Tree and Family Dollar recently announced a plan to close 1000 stores.

Even more bizarre is that the potential new Dollar Tree in Linden will be near a preexisting Dollar General on Broad Street (across from the Alpinie Marketplace).

According to the Tri-County Times, a preliminary site plan was approved during a Linden Planning Commission on September 5th, 2023.

Social media has been buzzing about this topic. On the Linden Michigan Community Chat Facebook page, people are not shy about sharing their opinions regarding a Dollar Tree opening in Linden.

We cannot one hundred percent confirm that a Dollar Tree is indeed opening on Broad Street in Linden, but we think it is a safe bet to assume it is most likely to.

If that is the case, we hope anyone out of a job due to a Dollar Tree or a Dollar General closing, is offered employment at this potential new location.
