Social media is buzzing over what may be opening in the former XOLO location in downtown Fenton.

A recent post on the "Shoot the Breeze" Facebook page for Fenton, Michigan, asked about what might open in the location of the former Mexican restaurant. While some responses included humorous suggestions like a car wash or a dollar store, it appears that the new establishment may be a tapas and wine bar.

A few people commented that the building was purchased by the owner(s) of Redwood Steakhouse off Hill Road in Mundy Township.

As noted above, speculation is the spot will be called 111. That tracks, because the street address of the building is 111 South Leroy Street.

Another comment indicated the new establishment will open sometime this spring.

Unfortunately, I could not confirm this - but I will definitely continue to follow the story.
