Nine Alumni You May Recognize from Grand Valley State University

Grand Valley State University has several alumni you may know.

Grand Valley State University is located in Allendale, Michigan. About 12 miles outside of Grand Rapids, this college was first established in 1960. Now, students can find GVSU campus locations in Grand Rapids, Holland, Battle Creek, Detroit, Muskegon, and Traverse City.

With over 24,000 students, Grand Valley State University is on the list of America's 100 largest universities. The university itself offers seven colleges to earn your degree that include the following:

Allendale, Michigan is located in Ottawa County on the west side of the state. Visitors to the area will find Lubbers Stadium, which is home to the GVSU football program, GVSU Fieldhouse, Bass River State Recreation Area, and more.

While searching through the list of alumni at Grand Valley State University, I found that the school has produced more than its fair share of athletes and politicians. Other alumni also include directors, journalists, coaches, a United States olympian, and more.

I love seeing the famous and notable people that have ties to Michigan cities and universities. Being a huge fan of Joe Rogan, it was cool to find out that Steven Rinella, who frequents the JRE podcast, attended GVSU.
