Looks like the partying got a little out of control for a frat at GVSU. A fraternity has been shut down after multiple drug and alcohol violations.

Delta Upsilon made the announcement on Thursday. Apparently the violations took place during the last 18 months. The executive director of the fraternity said that its' members are held to a certain standard. Sadly, that chapter failed to keep up with those.

After a hearing last month and many of the violations taking place in the fall 2016 semester, the decision was made to shut the frat down.
