Flint residents can get free Coronavirus tests Thursday and Friday at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.

Shiloh is hosting the drive-thru testing site through a partnership with the State of Michigan and local health organizations. The best part about this testing event is that it is completely free, and requires no medical qualifications to get tested.

The testing site is part of a state wide initiative to get more people tested, regardless of symptoms or insurance status. Michigan has set up a no cost testing site finder that you can use by clicking the link below.

The testing at Shiloh is being conducted by the Michigan National Guard, and results will be distributed by the Genesee County Health Department. If you would like to get tested, the details for this weeks testing at Shiloh are as follows:

  • Thursday July 9th - 2pm to 7pm
  • Friday July 10th - 9am to 1pm

The state has really started to step up testing efforts by coordinating with local health organizations. Recently they have incorporated the 211 system into the fold when it comes to finding help. You can call 211 anytime to ask questions about testing sites, or you can call the state Covid hotline at 888-535-6136.

As always the state has done a great job of keeping people informed about the Coronavirus pandemic through their online Coronavirus portal here. You can find everything from case numbers to testing sites on the portal. Please remember to mask up and stay safe.
