No Big Soda For You!

New York City has banned big soft drink sales at movie theaters, concession stands and some eating establishments, including fast food joints. You can of course buy sugary drinks still, just don't ask for anything larger than a 16oz cup, that is the limit.

According to The San Francisco Chronicle, this proposal was approved by NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg and approved by a panel of health experts. As you can imagine, this is not sitting well with many people. Forcing health on the masses seems like a losing battle. Plus, I am guessing it is more than pop making millions of Americans fat. Like I said, that is just a guess.

I do not drink pop too often, but if I want a big ass Coca-Cola with my value meal, or want a super size Pepsi while watching a movie, I think that should be my choice. Luckily this is not an issue in Michigan. Yet anyway.
