Oakland County on Alert After Indecent Exposure Incident
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department is urging residents to help identify a man accused of alleged indecent exposure involving pre-teen girls in Rochester Hills.
The incidents occurred on Sunday afternoon, June 29, 2025, just before 4:00 PM outside the Shake Shack and at the nearby Barnes & Noble, both located on North Adams Road.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office stated in a press release that the suspect passed by the girls outside Shake Shack, lifted his shirt, and exposed himself through his open zipper.
It did not end there. After the girls moved to the front of Barnes & Noble, the suspect once again exposed himself.
Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard made the following comments regarding the disturbing incidents,
Repeatedly targeting young girls and exposing oneself is not only vile, it's a serious crime.
The suspect has been described as a white male, estimated to be between 20 and 30 years old, with blondish-brown hair. He was reportedly wearing sunglasses, a gray collared shirt, and greenish-gray cargo shorts at the time of the incidents.
The photograph released by authorities provides a clear view of the suspect’s face, which will certainly help the public identify him. The image and press release were posted on the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page (see below).
This is an important reminder to have open, honest conversations with your kids about personal safety and how to handle situations that make them feel uncomfortable or unsafe. These talks can be tough, but they are important.
If you have any information about the suspect, please contact the Oakland County Sheriff's Department at (248) 858-4950.
