Police ID Man Who Stabbed Dog Multiple Times [VIDEO]

I cannot even wrap my head around how this could happen. Over the past few days, most of us saw/read the news story about a Saginaw County dog being stabbed several times. A suspect was taken into custody, and now police have released his name. 

Jason Humpert, 25, was arrested after authorities received a 911 call about a dog stabbing. Humpert is being charged with animal cruelty and remains behind bars at the Saginaw County Jail on a $100,000 bond. As for the injured dog, according to the Saginaw County Animal Care Center, he is feeling much better after surgery for a collapsed lung.
