Hazel Park Pizzeria Lands in Dave Portnoy’s Top 3 Michigan Pizza Spots

Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports One Bite Pizza Reviews recently named a Hazel Park pizzeria one of his top three pizza spots in Michigan.

Amelia Street Pizza Company is already a popular destination, but after Portnoy’s endorsement, the line at this Oakland County pizzeria is likely to get even longer.

The place keeps the menu simple - the menu features 18-inch cheese pizzas and 18-inch pepperoni pizzas. No slices or extra toppings are available. A cookie and soft drinks are also available.

As you will see in the video below, the pizza Dave Portnoy tried featured crust topped with what he called Parmesan, and he is not a fan. However, according to The Detroit News, the cheese on the crust is actually Pecorino, not Parmesan.

Portnoy gave the pizza a score of 8.3 and the cookie a score of 8.1.
