Queens of the Stone Age are no strangers to showing up in unusual places, they even played a concert in a salt mine a few years back. QOTSA frontman Josh Homme will be joining Anthony Bourdain for a strange trip through the desert on on the Travel Channel show 'No Reservations'.

Queens of the Stone Age/ Them Crooked Vultures singer Josh Homme was born and raised in the California deserts. He also used to host recorded jam sessions in the desert with several musical guests that were released under the name 'Desert Sessions'. So when Anthony Bourdain took his show through the U.S. deserts, he definitely brought along the right companion.

Josh will be featured on the upcoming U.S. Desert edition of No Reservations that airs August 8th at 9pm on the Travel Channel. This is not Homme's first appearance on the show, Queens of the Stone Age showed up for dinner donning god-awful Christmas sweaters during Bourdain's Holiday Special a few years back. You can check out that appearance under the preview for the new episode below.
