If you’re into tattoos, body art, or you’re just curious, this one needs to be on your radar.

The Saginaw Tattoo Fest is making its debut in downtown Saginaw with a three-day takeover of the Dow Event Center. This is the first year for the festival, and it’s already shaping up to be a big one.

Expect celebrity and local tattoo and piercing artists, live entertainment, contests, merch, and plenty of people just walking around soaking in the atmosphere. Whether you’re planning your very first tattoo, adding to an already full sleeve, or just checking out the art and vibes, you don’t need a single tattoo to enjoy it.

Can Anyone Get a Tattoo at the Saginaw Tattoo Fest?

One of the biggest misconceptions about tattoo conventions is that they’re only for people in the industry. That’s not the case at all.

The Saginaw Tattoo Fest is open to everyone. You don’t need to be a tattoo artist or already covered in ink to get tattooed here. Many artists will be booking appointments in advance, but walk-up tattoos will also be available each day on a first-come basis.

Whether it’s your first tattoo or you’re adding another piece, this is very much a public event. And even if you don’t plan on getting tattooed at all, there’s still plenty to see between the art, live entertainment, contests, and the overall atmosphere. It’s a whole vibe.
