Say it with me - 'It places the lotion in the basket!'

The home of Buffalo Bill in the movie 'Silence of the Lambs' is on the market. I love it when a movie or TV show is shot in an actual home, and not just on a sound stage. I don't know if I would necessarily like living in this home made of nightmares (and skin suits), but I did enjoy checking out all of the pictures, and watching the virtual video tour.

The Pennsylvania home is being sold by The Sisters Sold It real estate team. For the bargain price of $298,500 dollars you could own a piece of movie history. The house features four bedrooms, a three car detached garage, a vintage caboose that sits next to a built in pool, and many original features such as hardwood flooring and trim work. Not bad for an estimated monthly cost of $1427 dollars.

The real estate makes a very good point in the listing information. This property would make a great Airbnb investment. Can you imagine the income that would bring in? I think there would be one hell of a waiting list to stay the night in this house of horrors.

Before you get too excited, I should point out there is a basement - but according to the New York Post, there is no hole. That part of the film was filmed on a sound stage. Oh well, you can't have it all - but you can certainly serve liver, with some Fava beans, and a nice Chianti for dinner.
