Slipknot are gearing up to head out on tour in a few weeks, and they've just announced a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! - not the typical Kimmel rodeo. The group's appearance on the late night show is scheduled for Friday, May 17 at 11:35pm ET. Tickets can be requested, and the performance will air on ABC as well.

The link generates a page with an event titled "Kimmel Slipknot Outdoor Mini-Concert." This will mark the 'Knot's first performance since November of 2016, meaning the first time we'll get to see the group's terrifying new masks. You can also request tickets through Kimmel's ticket request page through 1iota.

The band have had a back-and-forth battle with the departed Chris Fehn over the last few months, but that clearly isn't stopping them. Their upcoming sixth album is set for release Aug. 9, and their Knotfest Roadshow with Volbeat, Behemoth and Gojira kicks off Friday, July 26 in Mountain View, Calif.
