Michigan is getting its very first Slutty Vegan restaurant.

The popular chain will open a location in Detroit's Corktown neighborhood at 1441 West Elizabeth Street.

According to Veconomist, Slutty Vegan founder and CEO Pinky Cole Hayes had this to say about bringing the brand to Detroit,

Expanding into Detroit represents a pivotal moment for us. This city embodies the kind of resilience and boldness that Slutty Vegan was built on. We’re proving that plant-based fast-casual can thrive in any market when you have the right people, the right message, and the right mission.

Detroit franchise owner Obinani Iwuoha is aiming to open the restaurant in September. What Now Detroit reports that Iwuoha has the rights to the Slutty Vegan franchise and has plans to open additional locations in Michigan.

Unfortunately, no exact cities have been named. Could a Genesee County location be in the works? Now, that would be awesome.
