Louis C.K. Returning to SNL for First April 2017 Show
SNL has been piecemealing through 2017 with two shows a month, and our first April show is now confirmed to follow Scarlett Johansson. Comedian Louis C.K. will return to SNL for the first April 2017 show, joined by a first-time musical guest.
As announced during Scarlett Johansson’s five-time return, SNL confirmed that Louis C.K. would make his fourth SNL hosting on Saturday, April 8, joined by musical guest The Chainsmokers. The Louie creator and star first hosted in 2012 (in the midst of Hurricane Sandy), followed by a 2014 return alongside Sam Smith, and the 2015 finale with Rihanna.
For his part, C.K. has at least two upcoming Netflix comedy specials, to say nothing of his upcoming animated cop comedy with Albert Brooks, the Hulu streaming of Horace and Pete, and whatever future FX’s Louie might hold.
Stay tuned for more from Scarlett Johansson’s SNL return, as well as additional April hosts beyond Louis C.K.
