If your child is planning on heading to Back to the Bricks next week, they are going to have to stay with you once it hits 6 pm.

The Flint Police Department have announced the times for the curfew for next week's festivities. The curfew will go into effect Wednesday through Saturday for unaccompanied minors. Minors must be accompanied by an adult from 6 pm until 6 am if the plan on being in the area of Back to the Bricks. The zone in which the curfew will be enforced is bounded by I-69, 5th Avenue, Cesar Chavez Drive, and Church Street.

According to police, the ordinance is designed to make sure the environment stays safe and orderly during the festival. If anyone under the age of 17 is caught in that area during the curfew, fines will be given. The police will track down the minor's parents and them the $250 fine in violation of their responsibility.

The 15th annual Back to the Bricks Car Show & Cruise begins Monday, August 12th and runs through Saturday, August 17th.
