There’s a new business moving into the former Rite Aid building in Grand Blanc.

Given the number of Rite Aid stores in the area that are closing or have already closed, we should probably clarify which location this is.

Earlier this year, Rite Aid announced it was closing every store in Michigan. That’s roughly 165 stores that will sit vacant throughout the state. While the loss of Rite Aid stores is a devastating blow to Michigan, it does open doors for other opportunities.

At least one vacant Rite Aid store in Grand Blanc will be brought back to life in the coming weeks. However, it will only be temporary.

Moving into the former Rite Aid building on East Hill Road in Grand Blanc is none other than Spirit Halloween. Obviously, Spirit Halloween is a seasonal business, so the store will only be open for a few months.

It seems like every time a building sits empty for too long in Genesee County, a Spirit Halloween comes along to fill the space.

While some people might complain about Spirit Halloween opening another temporary store, they need to understand that it’s better to have the building utilized rather than sitting empty, even if only temporarily.

If you're not happy with what's going into the former Rite Aid building, don't worry—several other locations will soon be ready for new businesses to move in.

When Will Spirit Halloween in Grand Blanc Open?

It's unclear when Spirit Halloween will open its doors to customers, but according to Google, it is expected to open sometime this month (August).
