Spit-Gate Scandal: Michigan Deputy Files Lawsuit Against Taco Bell Employee
A police officer in Michigan is accusing a Taco Bell employee in Albion of spitting in her food.
If you do not witness someone spitting in your food, how can you prove it? With DNA testing, duh.
Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputy Maccah McGhee has recently filed a complaint against a Taco Bell employee named Governor Cameron-Wayne Stovall. She has also included the company that owns the Taco Bell location in Albion in her complaint, according to MLive.
'Spit-Gate' began in September 2024 when Deputy McGhee was eating a potato bowl and noticed something slimy. She brought the weird substance to management and was informed, but the concerns were dismissed.
Deputy McGhee did not let it go. The deputy had the potato bowl and the weird substance in it tested along with a court-ordered DNA sample from the accused Taco Bell employee and it was a match! Are you barfing now?
How can you make something so horrific right? Sue for $5 million in damages, that's how. Lawyers for Deputy McGhee claim their client has lost enjoyment and is dealing with emotional distress.
I am sure that everyone reading this will have an opinion. Some will argue that $5 million is not enough, while others will claim it's too much.
All I know is it sounds completely disgusting and DNA testing does not lie. I am guessing the case will settle out of court.
What do you think the outcome will be?
