Suck It Or Sing It? Steven Spielberg Making Musical TV

Reality shows are still a gold mine for television networks but with the success of "Glee" on Fox other networks are now ready to cash in on the musical craze.

Rumor has it that NBC has given the go ahead for an hour musical show titled "Smash" that is the brain child of famed director Steven Spielberg.  Yep, Speilberg.

I am not a fan of "Glee".  Or shall I say, I am not a "Gleek"?   Jane Lynch is a funny actress but I am not nuts for the musical numbers.  But boy alot of people like it!  The ratings numbers don't lie. "Glee" has been winning awards like crazy lately too.

Steven Spielberg seems to make gold out of any project he is involved in.  Could go either way.  What do you think?  Suck it musicals or you can't stop singing?
