Suspicious Death of 3-Year-Old In Mt. Morris Township

Heartbreaking news out of Mt. Morris Township in regards to the suspicious death of a 3-year-old today. Officers were called to a home this morning on Elms Road by the child's mother, who said her child was not breathing. The toddler taken from the home by ambulance and pronounced dead at a hospital.

Reports indicate on the way to the hospital, a police officer noticed suspicious injuries on the child. I am crying as I type this. No names have been released but we do know the child was a little girl. No arrests have been made at this time. As more details are made available, we will keep you updated.
