Swartz Creek Hometown Days 2025: What You Need to Know
Swartz Creek Hometown Days 2025 kicks off today, Thursday, May 29. Before you head to the annual festival, be aware that several changes have been made this year.
Some of the changes this year include new age restrictions and an entry fee for the festival.
Here is everything you need to know about Swartz Creek Hometown Days 2025.
A parent must accompany individuals under 18 years of age at the festival. I would assume a guardian is acceptable, though I haven't found any official confirmation.
Guests aged 18 and older are required to present a valid state-issued ID. Those between the ages of 21 and 54 will be charged a $10 entry fee. However, this fee can be waived by purchasing either a $35 daily session pass or a Mega Band for $100.
Mega Bands provide unlimited access to all carnival rides for the entire weekend and include re-entry privileges.
Carnival hours are as follows,
- Thursday, May 29th: 3 PM to 8:00 PM
- Friday, May 30th: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Saturday, May 31st: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Sunday, June 1st: Noon to 6:00 PM
Persons under 5 and those 55 and older receive free admission to Swartz Creek Hometown Days.
People between the ages of 5 and 20 will be required to buy a session pass or a Mega Band.
The Entertainment Tent will be open on Friday and Saturday until midnight. Please be aware that after 9:00 PM, only guests aged 21 and older are allowed inside.
If it seems confusing, don’t worry; you are not alone. It took me several attempts to understand it as well. The bottom line is, unless you’re under five or over 55, there will be a charge to enter the festival.
According to Swartz Creek Hometown Days Facebook page, the new policies are to ensure guests enjoy a family-friendly and safe event. That being said, these festival rules will also be in place,
- No Pets
- No Weapons
- No Backpacks
- No Fannypacks
- No Face Coverings
- No Drawstring Bags
Thank you to everyone behind Swartz Creek Hometown Days 2025, here is to a fun and safe festival.
