4th of July

I certainly remember setting up lemonade stands with my sisters as a kid. A history lesson booth - not so much. As far as the money we made, we bought BS stuff like candy. Not Gabe Fulmerhouser, the money he raises at his history booth will be donated.

Clearly these jackasses couldn't wait for the Fourth of July.

A guy named Mark Dice (who describes himself as "an expert on secret societies, conspiracies, and government cover-ups") runs a YouTube channel where he goes out on the street and asks easy questions to show how ignorant people are. He went to a beach in San Diego for the Fourth of July and asked people why we celebrate it, and some of the answers he received were pretty terrible. Read M

I am not one to bring a 'dish to pass' to a Fourth of July party. I prefer to bring cocktails to share. This year I will be serving up Patriotic Punch! You can too. It is super easy and there is vodka in it - I wonder if I could replace vodka with tequila? Tony LaBrie suggests throwing a stick of dynamite in your glass for an extra kick! Cheers!

A Flint woman says she thought she was hearing firecrackers going off in the distance right before a round of unfriendly fire pierced through both of her legs.

I think we all know one size does not fit all, but who decides what fits? Apparently Adventure Water Park does.  Madelyn Sheaffer claims staff at the park asked her to put on shorts to cover her tiny bikini. When she wouldn't, she was asked to leave.

My heart breaks for this family. A young boy was killed in Oklahoma yesterday during a Fourth of July parade. The 8-year-old boy was riding on a flatbed float when he either fell or jumped off of the float and was hit by the truck pulling the float. The driver of the truck was the boys father.
