Dort Highway

Summertime is road construction time in Michigan and even this year is no different.

Right around 7 a.m. this morning a person was killed on Dort Highway. The accident happened at Dort's intersection with Lippincott Boulevard.

A small fire broke out in one of the rooms at the Travel Inn on Dort Highway Sunday morning. Investigators believe that the fire was accidental and one person was sent to the hospital as a result.

A motorcyclist is in critical condition after being rear-ended on Dort Highway yesterday evening. The motorcycle was at a complete stop while trying to make a left turn. One car behind the bike went around the cyclist which caused the second car to slam into the stopped bike.

Last Tuesday (7/22), a "man" reached across the counter and hit an unsuspecting female employee at a Flint Burger King and the whole thing was caught on camera. I'm pretty sure that's not what they meant by "have it your way."
