If you are a golfer in Michigan, you know the awful feeling when winter sets in and your golfing for the year is over. Now, thanks to Topgolf, your game can go on all year.
Normally a fight that involves alcohol is caused by the alcohol and not the can it came in. However, a couple finishing up a round with their family at Heather Highlands ran into that exact problem.
The Buick Open was a staple for Genesee County for years. Not only was it a good time, but it brought in a lot of revenue to the area. The PGA just announced today that Warwick Hills (former home of the Buick Open), will be hosting the Champions Tour in 2018.
Last night at the Banana Bad Golfers League, a huge rain storm popped up and drove everyone inside. Naturally, with $1 beers and too much time on our hands, the golfers started coming up with ways to pass the time.
Forget 'Shake & Bake' - this is 'Stack & Whack'! Watch as Clinton Township resident Tyler Prisby makes one heck of a golf trick shot. I don't know a birdie from a par - but I do know this is impressive.
Thank God his friends had the idea to film this shot. This poor guy had a bad shot that put him right next to the water. Unfortunately, and thankfully, his ahole friends made him play it from there. He was on his toes, took his swing, and the rest is history.
Videos like this make me think I still have a chance to be a professional golfer. Ernie Els has been playing professional golf since the late 1980's and still manages to have bad days. After kicking off the Masters yesterday, he ended up missing a short putt six times before putting it the hole.
I have seen some weird things on the golf course, but never anything like this. These two guys were out playing a round when an angry kangaroo decided he didn't want them there. After the guys retreat to their golf cart, the kangaroo makes a charge. The damn thing nearly caught up to them before it gave up.
I had no idea that this was a thing in 1989. These guys are really serious about a skins game in putt putt golf. Just listening to the commentary will make you laugh. It gets better as you watch the whole thing. I love golf but the are at a very rare and almost impossible level of nerd in this one.
Outside of basketball, there are not many things that Shaq is good at. Now we can add golf to that list. Watch as he tee's off at the Greenbrier Classic Pro-Am. He quickly addresses the ball and swings away. Luckily for us, he was nowhere near the ball.
