One of the most historic places in America, Mackinac Island, is also home to one of the 'Top 10 Most Historic Hotels' in America, and it's not the Grand.

This year Michigan found four fabulous properties making the list of the "Favorite Resorts in the Midwest, with one taking the top spot at #1.

Michigan's jewel, the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, has been named one of the "Top 25 Historic Hotels of America in Film and Television History".

Step aside California! Three of Michigan's finest Winery Hotels have been ranked the best in America with one hotel taking the number one spot.

Michigan wasn't the only state affected by a 2016 hotel credit card breach, there were actually 1,175 hotels in total nationwide.
