Linkin Park, the Offspring and other special guests have been confirmed to perform at Concert for the Philippines on Jan. 11, 2014. The show will take place at Los Angeles' Club Nokia and the amount of tickets available are very, very limited.
In late 2012, the Offspring toured with Dead Sara. During the Offpsring's set, Emily Armstrong from Dead Sara would join the band for a stripped down version of 'Gone Away.' A video of an October performance of the song at a show at the Hollywood Palladium, as well as footage of the pair recording a studio version of the song, has been released (watch below).

Last we reported, The Offspring were hoping to finish the follow-up to their 2008 record 'Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace' before year's end. It sounds like they're on track to meet that goal, but we probably won't hear it until 2012.
