Looks like the Michigan Court of Appeals has thrown out a lawsuit and has decided to add a minimum wage initiative to the ballot this November.

Last month Swartz Creek Fire Chief Brent Cole was let go after 21 years of service. Many residents were not happy about the decision and took to the city council.

After a meeting last night, the Hamady school board will not be reinstating the former superintendent. Some students and the public are not happy about this decision.
