Michigan Court Orders New Minimum Wage Initiative On Ballot
Looks like the Michigan Court of Appeals has thrown out a lawsuit and has decided to add a minimum wage initiative to the ballot this November.
The ruling came down in a 2 to 1 vote on Wednesday. Now, The One Fair Wage Proposal will be available for Michigan residents to vote on. This proposal aims to gradually raise the minimum wage in Michigan to $12 per hour. It will also help raise the minimum pay for workers and employees that make tips.
If you feel this is wrong, be sure to go and vote in November. If you feel this is right, be sure to go and vote in November. Bottom line is, go vote in November. Even though I know there is a war that is about to start in the comments below, I just hope that everyone will do their research and keep an open mind to everything on the ballot and make an informed decision.
