I recall people dissecting frogs when I was in high school. I do not remember teachers skinning rabbits. Students in a 10th grade biology class will most likely never forget a lesson on how to snap a rabbits neck and skin it. Yep, this happened in Idaho.

The name of this particular teacher has not been released. The purpose of the lesson was to show students where their food actually comes from. I am not sure how many sophomores are eating rabbit? 16 students did indeed witness the killing and skinning of the rabbit.

To be fair kids were told they could leave if they did not want to watch the bunny murder. This of course was not part of the curriculum and the teacher is facing possible disciplinary action. What do you think? Life lesson or pure crazy?
