The Laundry in Fenton Gets Rid of Plastic Straws [VIDEO]

The Laundry in Fenton has joined a nationwide movement to help save the environment. They have done away with plastic straws as one of their green initiatives. 

Now before jerks out there throw a fit, just remember, it's only a straw. We have been drinking directly out of cups for years, this won't change your dining experience.

So far, The Laundry has received a lot of compliments and support for their actions. They first started this idea back in December. Many people say that it's the little things in life that count and make a difference. I think this is one of those differences.

Over 500 million straws are used every day in the United States. That is insane. Also, just in case you don't think your life can go on without a straw, you can still request a paper one when you are at The Laundry. To the folks at The Laundry, nicely done!
