She was born on May 23, 1899, and lived until June 17, 2015, reaching the age of 116 years and 25 days. She was recognized as the oldest living person in the United States before she passed away.
You have to keep in mind that it's possible that others in Michigan may have lived longer than Talley, but without official verification, their ages cannot be confirmed as the absolute oldest.
