There’s Over 1,000 Cases of COVID-19 in Genesee County
The state of Michigan now has over 27,000 cases of COVID-19, with 1,030 cases coming from right here in Genesee County.
It's crazy how fast these numbers continue to climb. It was back on March 23rd when we first reported 23 cases in Genesee county, not even a month later and we're over 1,000. At the time, we didn't have any deaths in our area and now we're looking at 86.
Lapper County's numbers also continue to climb with 117 COVID-19 cases and 9 deaths.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) have been reporting COVID-19 case numbers in a daily web update at 3 p.m. Here are the current numbers.
