Tigers Affiliate To Wear Chewbacca Jersey This Season [VIDEO]

Its been a fast growing tradition over the past few years for MLB clubs to have a Star Wars night at the ballpark. This year the Detroit Tigers Triple A affiliate Toledo Mud Hens will be doing a Star Wars Night of their own on May 4th. Why May 4th? Because of the similar sound when you say "May the force be with you" and "May the Fourth...". Along with the face painting by Star Wars characters the Mud Hens will be getting in on the fun with Star Wars themed Chewbacca Jersey's as part of their uniform. Its rumored that after the game the jersey's will be auctioned off with the proceeds going to charity. Here's a preview of one Star Wars night at a major league ballpark where Chewy came out to throw the first pitch.
