Tony LaBrie Proposes to Girlfriend While on Vacation [PICS]
I never thought I'd do it again but once I met my girlfriend Angelique, I knew immediately that she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
Last week while on a cruise with family and friends, I popped the big question. I asked her to marry me while sitting on our cabin balcony in the middle of the ocean at sunset. I asked her on the second day of our trip so thankfully she said yes or the next five days would have been very awkward.
Our vacation started with a day in New Orleans before getting on the Norwegian Getaway for seven days of sun and fun.
Our first stop was in Cozumel where we spent the morning snuba diving which is a lot like scuba diving just without the air tanks. We then spent a couple of hours sucking down cocktails at a local bar.
Our next stop was in Honduras where we spent an entire day snorkeling and drinking Coronas on the beach. This was by far the best snorkeling adventure I'd ever been on.
Our third and most relaxing stop was Harvest Caye in Southern Belize. It's basically a 75-acre oasis featuring a huge pool with a swim-up bar, salt-water lagoon and a massive private beach. We literally did nothing but chill on the beach all day.
Our final stop was in Costa Maya. There we took an hour bus ride to the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins which sit deep in the Mexican jungle. We hiked through the jungle with spider monkeys swinging through the trees above our heads. We got some amazing photos of the ruins and even got to climb up a few which is very rare when it comes to ruins.
It was a life-changing vacation, to say the least.
