We've been hearing more and more about police officers across the state of Michigan testing positive for COVID-19. Most recently, two Saginaw police detectives that share a workspace have tested for the disease.

According to ABC12, the Saginaw Police Department reports one detective only has mild symptoms, while the other is being treated for severe symptoms at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor after being transferred from another hospital.

As expected the department is taking the necessary precautions and steps to keep things sanitized while keeping other officers safe. No different from the rest of us, the department is also practicing social distancing as well.

I have nothing but respect for first responders who always put themselves before anyone else. We want to wish both detectives a speedy recovery.
