Vandals Damage Memorial Honoring Flint’s Automotive History [VIDEO]
I'll never understand why people feel the need to vandalize memorials that symbolize a part of history.
This happened over the weekend at the UAW Sitdown Strikers' Memorial on W. Atherton Road in Flint. According to ABC12, volunteers who care for the memorial found the damage Sunday afternoon. Some of the statues were painted white, lights were broken and windows were damaged.
I find this extremely disrespectful especially since it happened a week before Labor Day weekend.
