Wahlburgers Offering 50% Off Burgers For ‘National Cheeseburger Day’

The Whalberg brothers are all talented, but they did not create the first cheeseburger.  Lionel Sternberger did. Legend (Wikipedia) has it that Sternberger was working at his father's Pasadena sandwich shop in 1928 when he experimented with dropping a slice of American cheese on a beef patty —and the cheeseburger was born. Sounds legit.

When it comes to toppings on a cheeseburger, the sky is the limit. Go crazy!
